Ancient Egypt was a theocracy and religion was the basses of their government. If you ever broke a law, not only you, but you whole family would be punished. There are many laws that Pharaohs made throughout the years such as "You must never rob a neighbor"
Pharaohs-
Pharaohs owned and ruled over everyone and everything in Ancient Egypt. They were viewed as Gods, and were treated in that way. Pharaohs were above all other position in government, and were worshiped by everyone. When Phataohs died, their bodies were mummified and buried with presicous items that they want to keep in the after life.
